Go-go to Dozo

As I step through the door of Dozo, it’s an instant calm of serenity away from the hustle and bustle of Soho behind me. The tables are low down on the floor as is customary in Japan to eat on at ground level. At first glance I missed that underneath the tables had been cut out to imitate the seating experience we are used to in the UK. For future diners at this restaurant and I do recommend you become a future diner, I would suggest wearing trousers or at least something one feels that they can nimbly slide up […]

London’s New Venues

London never needs an excuse or reason to go out for dinner or indulge in cocktails at a hotel bar at the end of day, but with autumn just around the corner and the evenings drawing in, at least we can argue that the fading lights mean we have to be inside and if we just happen to be in the latest restaurant who can blame us? This September sees a whole bunch of brilliant restaurants and hotels launching, so here is a little selection of what will be opening up on our streets this month. Ace Hotels, Shoreditch Arguably […]

Up and Coming Premieres in London

As the lovely weather is beginning to bid farewell to hard core tanners, we are forced away from the beaches and back into the London bars, restaurants and cinemas to find new ways to entertain ourselves away from the sun. Lucky for the sun worshippers, September sees a host of film premieres being aired in London, making venturing inside seem a tad less depressing. To start us off we have the London film premiere of Rush on 2nd September with Australian hunk, Chris Hemsworth, taking to the silver screen with co-stars Olivia Wilde and Natalie Dormer. Rush sees Chris play the […]
