Following the success of last year’s production Minotaur, Lazarides Gallery and The Old Vic Tunnels are joining artistic forces again to coincide with the Frieze Art Fair. Bedlam is a term coined from ‘Bethlam’ London’s Hospital for the clinically insane so expect chaos, disorder and extreme confusion. Contributors include: Antony Micallef, Artists Anonymous, ATMA, Conor Harrington, Dan Witz, Doug Foster and Ian Francis and visitors will receive an HTC device preloaded with an audio tour of the exhibit. As of this week, the team behind Bombay café, Dishoom in Covent Garden is going east and opening on Boundary Street in the heart of Shoreditch with a bar, café, kitchen dining room and courtyard. Dishoom pays homage to the Irani cafés that were once part of the fabric of life in Bombay. Opened early last century by Persian immigrants, there were almost 400 at their 1960s peak though nowadays fewer than 30 remain. German chef Oliver Trific is flying into London on 22nd October to unveil something rather special on another one of Young&Foodish Daniel Young's BurgerMondays. Where is this taking place? The Draft House Tower Bridge. The Portobello House

The Portobello House Hotel opened quietly in June but last week saw the launch of an onsite bistro alongside the official launch of the hotel. It lies but a few blocks from the legendary road of the same name and is a family business owned by Lara Adams, Carlo and Louisa Limata and Guy Binns.   As if the newly-Michelin-starred Trishna wasn't already excellent, there's some great news surrounding the gem that's just been released.
