The Red Market Pop-Up

Starting today, Old Street is hosting a collaboration of East London’s most prominent street  traders, artists and musicians in a unique outdoor pop-up combining social regeneration and shared cultural pursuits. The 20,000sqft outdoor space boasts a stage, summer house, sand area, table tennis, hammocks, graffiti artworks and even petanque pitches. Louis Vuitton is getting into the Olympics spirit with an exhibition of 12 limited edition prints by artists including Gary Hume, Rachel Whiteread, Fiona Banner and Tracey Emin – all commissioned to celebrate London hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.
