Arkady Novikov, has unveiled the first images of his new Novikov Restaurant & Bar and the first project outside of Russia for the legendary restaurateur is due to open in November in the heart of Mayfair. As guests enter through revolving doors off Berkeley Street, they will see cool granite walls, a striking lacquered ebony bar-counter decorated with a jade stone (belonging to Arkady himself). Culinary Carnival at Fortnum & Mason

Not wishing to be ousted from the fun and excitement of the London Restaurant Festival, Fortnum & Mason is getting in on the act. For the two weeks over which the Festival takes place, the iconic Mayfair store will be hosting a ‘Culinary Carnival’. Friday sees the opening of Alchemy, the newest artistic collaboration from Annoushka Ducas at her flagship Chelsea boutique.
