London in Love

There’ll be a whole lotta love in the capital this weekend, and it won’t just be restricted to the grandiose confines of Westminster Abbey. The Southbank Centre will be overrun by the kind of festivities we only usually encounter circa February 14th, but with a distinctly ‘bridal’ vibe. Anyone who has lived through the inner workings of a wedding can testify the true number of elements involved, from the dress right down to the teeny tiny pieces of glittering confetti splashed artfully across each and every surface. The Southbank will be embracing various areas of marital concern, from the notoriously […]

We’re not sure whether we should eat these or display them on the mantelpiece but this year’s Easter collection from Artisan du chocolat is almost worthy of a spot at the Tate Modern.     We’re loving the pretty peony designed Wrapped Up egg filled with a selection of liquid sea salted caramels, the colourful red and blue Speckled Eggs in layered dark or white chocolate and the limited edition Ceramic Egg – imprinted with an illustration of a growing cocoa pod. Chocolate bunnies spray painted in candy hues with edible ink will certainly give Lindt’s golden rabbit a run […]

The Summerhouse’s light and airy décor is based on the large Long Island seafront houses where well-heeled New Yorkers retreat during the summer.
