The Savoy Grill Opens

Today (29th November 2010) marks the opening of The Savoy Grill following the completion of the hotel's £220m renovation project. Under the auspices of Gordon Ramsay Holdings, Stuart Gillies and Andy Cook have created a classic French/British menu – think lobster thermidor and beef wellington. We are looking forward to taking a peak…apparently the hotel, grill and American bar have been restored to their former art deco glory. Is it really true that you can draw messages on your life from the way you scrawl on a page? Fanatics and sceptics alike should head on down to Smythson this Thursday for an in-depth discussion with the people at Yard-o-Led to indulge in a little soul-searching.
