Philip Green Hired by Cameron

Philip Green has been hired by David Cameron to conduct an efficiency review into the government’s annual spending bill over the next three years. Green who will not be paid for his time, will set out to cut inefficiencies and identify potential savings. In a bid to cut down the rise of obesity food service operators could be forced to print calorie contents on their menus Health secretary Andrew Lansley has hinted that he will change legislation if operators do not respond to the Food Standards Agency’s (FSA) attempts to introduce a voluntary industry-wide code.
