Street Kitchen

When it comes to grabbing sustenance on the go, mobile food carts have been all the rage in the US for some time. New York's Tom Colicchio has rolled out his Wichcraft sandwich carts to San Francisco and Las Vegas and Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack in Madison Square Park is a city pilgrimage spot for its Shackburger and frozen custard milkshakes. He even has outposts as far afield as Miami’s Lincoln Road and Kuwait City. Designs on Andaz

Andaz hotel is getting into the artistic spirit of things to celebrate the London Design Festival Its 1901 Restaurant is collaborating with quirky British designer, Helen Beard and hosting special ‘craft’ afternoon teas served on hand-painted Limoges porcelain. Then at Catch Champagne Bar, gentle seaside frolicks gives way to something altogether more sinister. The banks of the river Thames have burst flooding the capital and London has been transformed into an underwater world of colourful jelly fish… Fortunately, though, this is neither news flash or prophesy.
