Bizarre Bazaar

Fancy dress fans are in for a real treat this summer. Quirky fashion stylist, Olivia Rigg, has just launched Bizarre Bazaar, a giant travelling dressing-up box packed to the brim with the most spectacular array of costumes. Olivia’s vast collection of expertly sourced vintage finery together with her own bespoke creations had became way too plentiful to manage, so what’s a girl to do? Some might open a shop or hire store but Olivia threw caution to the wind and took a wholly different route. Her nomadic spirit saw her appropriating the family horse box and converting it into a […]

And the new Beer Genie website that hit the net in May with its facts and trivia on, well, beer, is doing its level best to encroach upon what little time the world’s football fans are devoting to their desk jobs! And if you need any proof, the site’s geek department has been keeping a watchful eye on traffic and shhhh, the ISPs of the companies frequenting its pages. So, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Nationwide, Legal and General, Royal Bank of Scotland, Société Générale, PriceWaterhouse, Bank […]

The capital’s Italian restaurants are all about the bambini right now. We’ve already reported that Jacob Kenedy’s Bocca di Lupo has just opened a brand new gelateria and deli but hot off the press, Russell Norman’s Venetian Bacaro, Polpo, is popping out a little 24-seater number called Spuntino in October. The name Spuntino means little snack in Italian. Like Polpo, there will be small plates aplenty but the menu, devised by Russell Norman and Head Chef Tom Oldroyd, will mix its native Italian influences with those of down-town New York with a veritable feast of mini macs ‘n’ cheese, […]
