Love have been carefully dropping a picture per day in the run-up to the big release date of the third issue, causing quite a hype in magazine-land. Yin and Yang

Two new all day openings are proving – like we needed any proof – that London’s diners have an insatiable appetite for quality grub. The New York nostalgia of Profile Soho is the perfect foil for Boyd’s Brasserie’s old school elegance but you can be sure that both venues have got what it takes to tempt a whole new wave of foodies from their habitual hunting grounds. Make no mistake, Profile Soho is yellow – but in a good way! The retro bar and diner brings a welcome ray of American sunshine to an oft drab Wardour Street. Swing by […]

The Angels Retro Sale

It’s back, vintage lovers! The legendary costumiers Angels will be once again opening their doors and allowing fans of all things retro to haul their treasures into plastic sacks and take them away for a nominal fee. The first sale of this kind back in December 2008 caused quite a commotion, with eager shoppers reportedly queuing outside the warehouse from the earliest of hours. This time around the focus is on clothing and accessories circa 1950-1990 (yes, the Nineties are now officially retro, how distressing), with a small sideline in military uniform pieces including overcoats, capes and copious gentlemen’s trenches.
