TV foodie favourite, Valentine Warner is the first of a handful of chefs announced to front the first ever charity pop up restaurant planned for this summer’s Taste of London festival, in Regent’s Park from 17th – 20th June. Paramount Opens To Public

Paramount, the extremely popular restaurant and bar situated on the top three floors of London's Centre Point building, will next month open to the public for the first time. Owners Pierre and Kathleen Condou, who used to own L'Odeon and Bistrot Bruno and first launched Paramount as a private members club in November 2008, have decided to open up the restaurant on 14 May in response to 'overwhelming demand' from the public, it will extend its dining capacity to 110-covers. Expansion for Chez Bruce

Michelin-starred south London restaurant Chez Bruce is set to close for six weeks in the summer as chef patron Bruce Poole plans to expand into the building next door. The restaurant on Wandsworth Common will close for the extension works on 19 July and will reopen at the end of August. The extra space will be used to provide a further 20 covers to the dinning room, expand and upgrade the whole kitchen.
