Cluedo at Prism

There’s way more to savoury cocktails than a hair-of-the-dog Bloody Mary! Hammersmith’s award-winning Sipsmith Distillery has created a limited edition mustard vodka – exclusively for the City’s Prism Brasserie. There’s a tongue-in-cheek Cluedo-theme afoot and the list includes Colonel Mustard – Colman’s mustard Sipsmith vodka, honey syrup, pear puree, lemon juice and egg white and Bloody Scarlet – Prism’s take on a Bloody Mary with an added kick of mustard vodka. Cinnamon Club

Determined to maintain standards, amid the lager swilling morass of the forthcoming World Cup, we paid a visit to Vivek Singh’s distinguished Cinnamon Club. Everyone knows that the curries we enjoy in this country are an anglocized version of traditional Indian fare but Singh has made a virtue out of this fact and dishes combine Indian ingredients with those local to the UK and Indian cooking techniques with the culinary devices of Europe. And as we settled down in the lavish surroundings of the former Westminster Library, our sommelier guided us effortlessly through the wine list, recommeding a great Pinot […]

Sex & The City2 Premiere

Two years is a long old time in fashion. At the UK premier for SATC 2 no one wore red and Sarah Jessica Parker thankfully left the garden display at the Chelsea Flower Show where it belongs. Everyone’s favourite style queen looked amazing, though admittedly, after her ensemble of last time around, she really didn’t have much to live up to!
