Prada Paradise

While the English may be rushing to visit the new Westfield complex, Kuala Lumpur is busy adding even more extravagant shops to their prestigious mall, Pavilion.  This time it’s none other than Prada and set over two floors with three entrances, it seems to be making our giant Westfield look humble. Designed by Robert Baciocchi, the architect behind many a Prada store, the space which is set across 336 square meters, is made of backlit aluminium sections.  Baciocchi doesn’t end it here however, with alternate titanium and bronze finishing and a black marble stairway in a casing of bronzed mirrors, […]

Eternal Silver London

Eternal Silver London has provoked quite an excitement in the world of jewellery due to their use of Argentium 970-pure Silver instead of the more commonly known sterling Silver.  To the non jewellery gurus, Argentium produces a far shinier, stronger and harder finish than that of the Sterling Silver and means that the jewellery will maintain a bright white lustre while other lesser mortal Silvers start to dull.  The mastermind behind the idea is Simon Harrison and there’s little surprise in this, considering he has previously worked with the likes of Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano and Givenchy to name only […]

Vivienne Westwood

Last week Dame Vivienne Westwood threw an exclusive fashion and music show party in order to raise money for NSPCC in the Banqueting Hall at Whitehall Palace. Together with London Musici, Vivienne Westwood hoped to raise £250,000 for the children’s charity. The evening was also the night to see the designer’s new Gold Collection, Chaos Point.  The icon wore an all over embroidery dress in green taffeta from the new Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 collection.  The night was filled with celebrities such as the Jagger sisters, Claudia Schiffer and Tracey Emin, deifying the designer by donning various Westwood designs.  However, the event […]

Rejuvanessence

Caroline Josling's reviews could not be more glowing and there's little surprise to this as it seems Caroline might just have solved the enigma to youthful skin. Her rejuvanessence facial energy release is an in demand holistic treatment which works on releasing different tissues and muscles around the face. The gentle finger massage treatment lasts for one hour and twenty minutes and is the secret behind skin tone improvement and wrinkle diminishment. The treatment is set over six sessions and each one concentrates on a specific area of the face. Although signs of lines and wrinkle reduction are normally only […]

More news from the Italian fashion house, in the form of Gucci’s latest campaign for UNICEF. It is the fourth year that the luxury goods giant has committed to the cause, described as the most extensive philanthropic partnership in the company’s history. AG Limited Editions

To all those who can’t resist a new designer handbag it seems the market is about to get some steep competition in the form of nothing less than a Gucci. Daughter of the late Maurizio Gucci, Alessandra Gucci has paved her own way under the name AG and is launching her first limited edition, designer handbag collection. AG’s inspiration for her new design came from her interest in Botany and each of her bags have been influenced by the way floral imagery is depicted. The most interesting decision of AG’s however, is her choice of leather.  American Alligator. AG felt that […]

With the credit crunch looming over our heads, this Christmas may not see us whisking off to our preferred exotic holiday destinations.  However, Space NK seems to have found the solution with a new range of four fragrances designed to take us on a global voyage.  The new perfumes are Tuberoli, Champaca, Jasamber, Santalrosa and are inspired by travel memories, from Lapland to Tuscany, of Space NK’s founder Nicky Kinnaird.  The collection joins the relaunch of Space NK’s signature fragrance Laughter, which was originally created in 1999. The five scents are part of the brand’s new focus on “clean” products, […]
