Cartizze

A cocktail bar, named after a Prosecco making vineyard, is set to open on 8th April and will be serving luxe Bellinis and aperitivos in an art deco setting with dip-dyed oak panelling, soft lilac and blue leathers and art by Simone Webb. The cocktail list has been developed by Richard Wood, the UK winner of Bombay Sapphire’s ‘World’s Most Imaginative Bartender’ 2014, so while we’re sure he can also manage a G&T, his signature pour is Olive Oil Gin Fizz. You might prefer the Truffled Liquorice Sour though (whiskey, lemon, liquorice, egg white and truffle oil). Aperitivos include the Sgroppino – […]

Cheyne Walk Brasserie: Review

Having recently launched their new spring menu which includes a snail sauce, no less, we decided it was high time that we took a trip to Cheyne Walk Brasserie on Chelsea Embankment. A firm favourite with the locals, who have high dining standards –my basis for this assumption is that they live on streets aptly named Lordship Place and count the Kings Road as their high street – we expected great things. We arrived on Tuesday evening and although when we got there the restaurant was noticeably empty by the time we left it was bustling with diners – perhaps […]
