Lily Vanilli’s home brew

East London institution, Sebright Arms, is collaborating with baker Lily Vanilli in the latest of its Seabright Homebrew series. Previous collaborators include artist Pure Evil. Using its homebrewing kit, a ‘nano-brewery’ which allows for beer to be brewed in very small batches, Vanilli created Wit beer, a unique batch of light and summery wheat beer. The kit invites experimentation and encourages brewers to create more niche brews. Vanilli’s fruity syrup was concocted using hand-picked English raspberries and gorse flowers which was then brewed in partnership with LAB (London Amateur Brewers) to create the final version. Snowflake Luxury Gelato is delighted to be bringing their award winning, artisan gelato to London’s vibrant Soho. GAIL’s Garden Party

On Saturday 21st September GAIL’s Artisan Bakery will be hosting their annual Garden Party. Enjoy this event in Oriel Place, Hampstead, with GAIL’s and friends in the local community. The party will celebrate some of Britain’s finest food stalls and suppliers, with live music courtesy of a jazz band. Chor Bizarre in Mayfair is an exquisitely decorated Indian restaurant which has based its interior around its name meaning ‘thieves market’ with a mix of beautifully decorated chairs, tables and ornaments filling the dining area. The menus aren’t left out either as they are covered with detailed drawings of the markets with introductions to the dishes before listing the food. The starter of Aloo tikki chaat were nice potato patties filled with spiced lentil and green peas, served warm, topped with yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutney.
