Quality Chop House

Today sees the launch of the Grade II listed Quality Chop House restaurant on Farringdon Road. Think shared booths, nose to tail dining, sustainable fish and seasonal vegetables from a team led by head chef Shaun Searley. Pop next door for the wine bar with its mix of bar-stool seating, individual tables, small plates and takeaway sandwich menu. New neighbourhood bar, John Salt is opening tomorrow in Islington. 580 Ltd, the independent pub company behind The Owl and Pussycat in Shoreditch and The Fellow in King's Cross, have joined forces with rising star, chef Ben Spalding (Roganic, Gordan Ramsay) to open a 25 seat mezzanine level restaurant overlooking the main bar.
