Former Nobu head chef Scott Hallsworth is stretching his wings this autumn with the launch of new Japanese restaurant, Wabi London in Lincoln's Inn Fields in conjunction with entrepreneur André Cachia. Named after the Japanese aesthetic Wabi-sabi, a movement characterised by simple, undeclared beauty, Wabi London promises luxurious but understated design and elegant Japanese cuisine with a contemporary European twist. Baltic fires up for The Olympics

Popular South Bank restaurant and bar, Baltic, reopens its doors today just in time for the Olympics, after a kitchen fire forced its closure for almost four weeks. Say’s owner Jan Woroniecki: “I’m delighted that after much anticipation, we’re opening in time.
