Fans of The Princess of Shoreditch will love Bloomsbury’s new Lady Ottoline from gastropub dreamteam Scott Hunter and Maria Larsen featuring a downstairs pub and restaurant above. The ground floor pub boasts a wooden bar housed within backlit, glazed cabinet doors complete with vintage distressed mirrors and a winning line up of whisky, Cognac and Armagnac. Word is circulating that Nightclub impresario Guy Pelly is expanding his flourishing ‘Public’ empire overseas in time for the 2011/2012 Ski Season. The original Public, on the King’s Road, Chelsea has proved so much of a hit since opening late last year that aspiring Chelsea-ites and holidaymakers in Verbier, Switzerland will be able to soak up the scene or enjoy a home away from home.
