Campari is taking over King’s Cross this September with their ten day residency, ‘Campari Creates’. Campari will be bringing drinks, art and design, and hopefully the last of the summer sunshine all the way from Milan to London’s Granary Square. Running from 15th to 24th September, ‘Campari Creates’ will showcase two of Milan’s greatest exports: Campari and creativity. The residency will feature a ‘Campari Creates’ masterclass so you can learn how to create your own Campari cocktails, including those iconic classics, the Negroni and the Americano. If the cocktails liven up your inner artist, there will also be the opportunity to design your […]
It’s not often that you can go somewhere in London that no one’s been to before, you’ll discover a hidden venue, feel like you’re in the know and tell your friend only to find that they’ve been going there for years and it’s not really secret at all. Whilst we can’t tell you about a place that no one has ever been to before, we can tell you about a new exclusive space that has never been used for events before. Away from the bustle of Old Street, sits Old Street Showrooms, the next venue to be added to the […]
Steins at the ready, it’s nearly Oktoberfest again! This year German Gymnasium will be donning their best lederhosen and dirndls down at King’s Cross to bring a bit of the fun over from Munich with a celebration taking place on the restaurant’s al fresco terrace for most of September. With beer shipped straight in from the Black Forest by the Rothaus Brewery, guests will be able to enjoy the naturally unpasteurised, high quality beers, served in traditional steins. The Oktoberfest menu, served on wooden tables and benches that echo those in the famous tents being erected right now on Munich’s […]
You’ve Gouda be kidding us! Another La Fromagerie’s opening and, listen Caerphilly, this time they’re coming to Bloomsbury. Could things get any Feta? Our favourite cheese emporium, La Fromagerie, has long been supplying their incredible selection of whiffy wares to some of the best chefs and restaurants in London from their shops in Marylebone and Highbury. This September they will open their third shop, cafe and tasting room. The wedge-like site on the corner of Lambs Conduit Street will feature their signature Cheese Room, a shop selling seasonal fruit and veg and will accompany a 26-cover bar cafe and bar with […]
Forget Obamacare, call off Dr House, London’s hit private members club The Hospital Club is coming to Los Angeles. Founded in 2004 by philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in a once-derelict hospital in Covent Garden, the club is a dedicated space for artists, entrepreneurs and innovators to connect, create and collaborate. When it arrives in the home of nip-and-tucks, H.Club LA will evoke the experience of its London inspiration, albeit with a distinctly American flavour. Taking the theme of a Modern Grand Tour of Europe the 36 bedroom club will be set over five floors of spaces designed to […]
Summer might have ended but September has just started and it brings with it a month of pop-ups, supper classes and masterclasses. Have supper in London’s oldest church, spend the evening in prison, learn how make to a chai latte and visit a rooftop spa…autumn is shaping up rather well.
There’s no denying that in the style stakes, London is pretty much at the top – sure they say the Parisians are elegant and New Yorkers are cool, but when it comes to fashion, it’s us Londoners. Yes, we might be bias but we also just speak the truth – why are we on this fashion route? Because it’s almost London Fashion Week and us the world’s sartorial elite descends on the capital, with it they bring London Fashion Week Festival. Taking place at The Store Studios from the 21st to the 24th September it’s four days of catwalk shows, […]
