Following on from the success of The Italian Job in Chiswick and their craft beer shack at Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant & Castle, the team are set to open their third venture and this time it’s coming to Notting Hill. Today sees the opening of The Tapas Room, a new drink shop, deli and eatery opening in Tooting Broadway Market from the pair behind Donostia Social Club – Paul Belcher and Adrian Copplestone. There’ll be a Basque-inspired tapas, charcuterie and cheese menu with the likes of white tuna and escabeche; chicken liver parfait with pickled figs and griddled white asparagus with Romesco and toasted almonds and for pudding, a chocolate and macadamia brownie with a PX sherry glaze all appearing.
