As if sky high drinking wasn’t enough, Sky Garden has announced a pop-up vodka bar to keep us occupied over a busy summer of socialising. 155m and 37 floors above the City, the aptly named City Garden will help you start your day well with a range of fresh-pressed juices and all round virtuous breakfast dishes almost as green as your surroundings. Bloomsbury Get its Own Beach Bar

Trawler Trash Opens in Islington

Trawler Trash is a new, Islington seafood restaurant making the most of the lesser known treasures of the sea, the fish that often get forgotten, like the old bargain CD section you use to get in Woolsworth where you’d find a gem, if you will. Just because it is the so-called ‘trash’ doesn’t mean that you won’t be served the best, they’ll only be serving fresh fish delivered that day (that’s why it’s closed on Monday as the trawler men don’t work then) except rather than ‘traditional’ catches you’ll find the likes of pilchards, coley, sprat, grey mullet and cray […]

Cocktails and Coding: The Ultimate Masterclass

The tech industry is booming and code is all the rage but somehow we’ve missed the boat – it seems that even children are more advanced than us when it comes to coding, and the tech industry remains predominantly male. Sanderson has teamed up with coding experts, Code First: Girls, to host a series of tech-focused events, helping women take the reigns in the tech industry and just generally demystify the world of coding. Kicking off the series will be a ‘Women in Tech’ panel discussion, chaired by Holly Brockwell, editor of female-focused tech website gadgette.com. Holly will be joined by […]
