London’s drag scene is back – they’ve been dying to flaunt their fishiness, spending lockdown rehearsing their lip-syncs, their death drops and their insane make-up contouring skills. They’ve come back bigger and bustier than ever.

Leading the charge are Drag Race UK’s favourite drag mothers Lawrence Chaney and Bimini Bon Boulash, as well as a host of other queens with the most outrageous names: Miss Ginger Phlappage, Miss Demeanour and Mahatma Khandi to name a few. Sashay away…

1. The Folly

Sashay down to The Folly to experience more sequins, feathers and sass than you could shake a fake tit at. The Folly’s West End Drag Brunch is launching on 30 May and features drag queens exclusively from West End shows such as Kinky Boots and Priscilla Queen of The Dessert – expect a day of dancing, death drops and dazzling performances.

There will be a DJ and live vocals, hosted by the fabulous Ruby Murry from Pikes Ibiza and the legendary Miss Demeanour. Get ready to settle in, you’ll enjoy an hour and a half of bubbles and bottomless cocktails alongside grazing plates, including fiery slow-cooked pork ribs and smoked aubergine and mozzarella arancini.

2. Coqbull Soho

Chicken, burger, cock puns… Soho is obviously the best place to get your drag fix, and Coqbull is more than ready to welcome you. For one day only, their Coq’d and Loaded boozy drag brunch will be led by London’s leading drag queens Ophelia Love, Luna Bundy and Vanity Milan. They’ll take to the floor between 1pm-4pm with their class acts. As well as this, resident DJs will set the mood with feel-good 90s tunes, for your own lip syncing stage time. Tuck into a three-course meal with bottomless prosecco and get ready to spill the tea.

3. Bar Salsa! Temple

You’ll have to wait a little bit longer for this afternoon to arrive, but The Bougie Drag Bottomless Brunch at Bar Salsa! in Temple will return in serious style from June. They’ll celebrate its return in style with performances from leading queens Cara Melle, Kiki Snatch and Honey The Foxx, as well as a few surprise guests.

Spend four whole hours (yes, four!) soaking up a seriously sassy bottomless brunch, with 90 minutes of bottomless bubbles and a fantastic array of dishes, including crispy bacon and avocado, smoked salmon, smashed avocado and eggs, and home-baked banana bread. In between scoffing the food, there’ll be games, catwalk competitions, dance-offs, DJs and a few death drops for good measure.

4. Queen of Hoxton

You know it’s going to be good when a drag brunch starts with a welcome cocktail and finishes with fierce musical bingo. Queen of Hoxton is delivering serious sass as well as bottomless prosecco or mimosas. For your brunch, choose a savoury waffle main (buttermilk chicken or creamed devilled chestnut mushrooms) and then sweet waffles for dessert (strawberries and ice cream). Then for entertainment there’s fully loaded lip-syncs, outrageous games, unlimited party tunes, glitter artists, prizes, surprises and competitions. Move quickly though, because the event is fast selling out. Oh and the dress code? Dress to kill.

5. Proud Cabaret Embankment

They just keep on coming don’t they? The wigs, the drama, the cleverly mastered tucks. Next up is Proud Cabaret Embankment’s Drag Extravaganza Bottomless Brunch. With raucous entertainment, naughty jokes and bottomless booze, it’s an all-singing, all-dancing brunch experience

Start things early at 11:30 am and start gulping down the house cocktails and a lip-smacking two-course brunch. Show time starts an hour later with lip-syncing and glittering costumes. It’s time to slay.

6. Kids Klub

The name sounds somewhat misleading, so rest assured that Kids Klub is anything but a kids club. They’re who you go to when you want to see the best drag acts in town. This year, they’re running some of the biggest and brashest events and this includes a brunch this Saturday with Drag Race UK’s Awhora and another with Lawrence Chaney and Ginny Lemon on 5 June. As always, expect an epic 2-course meal and an hour of bottomless cocktails.

7. Nikki’s Bar

Step back to the 80s at Nikki’s bottomless drag brunch, which is unashamedly wild. Taking you back in their tacky time machine, you’ll be hosted by top class drag acts Dolly Trolley and Shay Shay. They’re camping things up and bringing a day full of mischief that was only ever acceptable in the 80s.

Sip bottomless bubbles, jam to your favourite tunes courtesy of the DJ and belt-out the best ballads of the era. There will be lip-sync showdowns, bonkers bingo and plenty of naughty prizes to really ramp things up. Raid your mother’s wardrobe, dig out the shoulder pads and slap on the spandex because the best-dressed table wins big.

8. Adventure Bar

You’ve had the 80s, now it’s the 90s… the girl band edition. It’s time to find out who steals the crown as the ultimate 90s girl gang. The Spice Girls will go up against Destiny’s Child in the most epic of sing-along showdowns. There’ll be bottomless bubbles, impressive vocals and the biggest bitch fight in history led by hosts Mahatma Khandi and Georgie Bee. You’ll be put to the test as you go head-to-head in a roof-raising game of bingo. And fancy dress is actively encouraged.

9. The Orange Buffalo

London buffalo wings company, The Orange Buffalo, is welcoming customers back with their new drag brunch at Colours Hoxton. There will be glitter artists, games, prizes and some of the biggest tunes disco has to offer, spun by a Drag DJ host. And to top it all off the food is epic.

Dishes include the OB Fried Chicken Benedict, with crispy fried chicken thighs, poached egg, beef tomato, hollandaise and woof woof sauce, and the Orange Buffalo’s KTOWN Mackerel, avocado, poached egg with coriander and sesame seeds, both on a toasted muffin. The Orange Buffalo, which started nine years ago as a food truck, has gained a loyal following of customers… so join the crew!
