Willy Wonka is issuing gold tickets this festive season, not for his chocolate factory but a side project he’s had on for a while in the form of The Sanderson’s Christmas theme. Welcome to a takeover that deserves to be as massive as Augustus Glooop, the bizarre, imaginative and downright crazy world of Willy Wonka. The Long Bar will be transformed into a sweet shop, with more vintage sweet jars than you can shake a sherbert didab at. Away from the psychedelic swirls of boiled sweets,  while the famous floral ceiling will be dripping with giant candy canes and colourful ribbons.

The whole event launches on Tuesday 27th November until Friday 4th January. Presumably then they’ll make way for a giant glass elevator; but perhaps not…
