Here comes the sun… Living in the UK has its ups and its downs, with the major down factor being the weather. We’re known worldwide as a gloomy, rainy island so when we get a splash of sunshine, we get a little delirious, running around in a fluster trying to soak up the heat as much as possible. While living in London can be great, your first apartment is normally the size of a shoebox with no greenery in site. So we’ve brought all of our wild ideas together of where to head when the next heatwave shows up in London, enjoy and don’t forget your sunscreen!

Head To An Urban Beach

If you’re looking for sandy shores to go along with the intermittent London blue skies, you’ll be searching all year. That being said, there are tonnes of urban style beaches springing up across the city bringing the beach to the city. Our favourite urban beach hideout is Fulham Beach decked out with day beds, beach huts and cabanas, all of which are available to hire out. Get your best bikini on, grab a cocktail and get ready for the ultimate beach party!

Make A Furry Friend

Whether you’re a cat fan, dog lover, pig fanatic or even goat enthusiast, everyone needs a furry friend. While living in London has its benefits, one downfall is that most landlords won’t allow pets.
