Get ready to have the time of your life this summer as Dirty Dancing comes to Secret Cinema. Following in the footsteps of Stranger Things, Back to the Future, 28 Days Later and many more, the 80’s classic will bring Johnny, Baby and the rest of gang from Kellerman’s resort to a secret London location this July.

Stepping into the summer of 1963 expect live music, dancing, leg warmers and watermelons as guests will be immersed into the cult classic.

In typical Secret Cinema style, the finer details are all still a little hush hush, but we do know that cinemagoers can expect a two-week summer romance wrapped up in one night, steamy Cha Cha lessons with a real life Johnny and (fingers crossed) THAT famous scene when Baby is lifted above the shoulders of a dashing Patrick Swayze.

And we’ve heard rumours that there’ll be secret rhythms coming from off the beaten path if you dare to go looking for some steamy hip thrusting moves.

As with all of Secret Cinema’s epic experiences, guests are guaranteed over four hours of surprises and disbelief, from secret storylines to reconstructed iconic locations and memorable characters. This time, the secret location (we can tell you it’s somewhere in Zone 3) is entirely outside and the evening will culminate in an open-air screening of the cult film, beneath the stars, snuggled under blankets.
