Napoli Gang x Fiorucci

If I could get away with writing this all in capitals I would, but do not – I repeat, DO NOT – miss your chance to catch Napoli Gang’s pop-up this month.

Brought to you from the group that brought us Circolo Popolare, Gloria and, more recently, Ave Mario, this month sees Big Mamma’s delivery-service Napoli Gang head to central London for a massive foodie pop-up. The team will be taking over the Fiorucci flagship store this August as part of the fashion house’s inaugural Summer Series.

Equipped with DJs and artist takeovers from Fiorucci, expect plates of fresh burrata and parma ham from Luigi Devodier and mortadella from Giovanni Bertarini. As well as their legendary XXL lemon pie.

RUN, don't walk.

When: 2nd – 31st August
Where: Fiorucci, 39 Brewer Street, Soho, W1F 9UD

The Garden Pavilion at Chiswick House and Gardens

London is abrim with pop-up restaurants this summer, but one that we’re really excited about is The Garden Pavilion at Chiswick House and Gardens. Running until the end of September, the menu serves up seasonal British favourites, including Nutbourne heritage tomato salad tartare, burrata, black garlic, basil ice cream and sea coral buckwheat tuile; Pan seared fillet of Cornish sea bass with risotto primavera; and Valrhona chocolate and raspberry delice with roasted hazelnut praline, raspberry sorbet and cacao nib crisps.

Polo Lounge at The Dorchester Rooftop

Beverly Hills might be off the cards this summer but you can get your LA fix here in London thanks to The Dorchester Rooftop’s Polo Lounge takeover. Running until the end of August, Hollywood’s favourite restaurant will be popping up atop the Mayfair hotel, bringing with it live music and Los Angeles menu classics.

The terrace will be dressed in banana leaf print, candy stripes and bougainvillea, and will play host to dishes such as Caviar ossetra; the McCarthy Salad (a Polo Lounge staple); American wagyu sliders; and Vegan truffle mac n cheese.

Don’t skip dessert - you’ll want a spoonful of the strawberry soufflé.

Tequila Terrace at Bankside Hotel

Let’s be honest, tequila has a bit of a bad reputation. It’s the drink defined by its ear ringing headaches and cheap shot deals. But it’s so much more than that. Enjoyed right, it can be a really tasty tipple that works great in cocktails or simply sipped, rather than shot.

Helping to rework everything you knew about tequila from your student days is El Rayo Tequila. They’ve created a sophisticated, 100% agave tequila that pairs well with tonic and a slice of grapefruit. See it as your new G&T. This summer they’ve partnered with Art Yard at Bankside Hotel to create a sophisticated summer serve, in the form of a tequila terrace.

Running throughout the summer, tequila lovers can rediscover tequila in a whole new way, enjoying tequila and tonics, or T&Ts as they like to call them, on their Mexican style terrace. Alongside the drinks, enjoy small plates inspired by Mexico and live out your holiday dreams, one tequila at a time.

When: Throughout the summer
Where: Bankside Hotel, 2 Blackfriars Road, Upper Ground, SE1 9JU

Rooftop Games at Skylight Rooftop

Can you even call yourself a true Londoner if you haven’t spent many evenings on top of Skylight’s iconic rooftop? Famed for its panoramic views across London’s skyline, Skylight is the place to head for after work drinks and weekend get-togethers.

This summer they’ve welcomed back guests to their bar with the return of their rooftop games. Team up with two to four others and play the classic French village game of Pétanque or battle it out with friends over a game of croquet on their lush green croquet lawns.

Both can be enjoyed indoor and outdoor, with the addition of table tennis and shuffleboard upon request when arriving.

When: Throughout the summer
Where: Pennington St. Car Park Entrance Wapping, SE1W 2SF
