This weekend head over to Calvert Avenue, Shoreditch to explore Tits London’s annual pop-up shop. Running until 12th December, the pop-up will feature designs, crafts and homeware goodies from 35 independent female artists. Expect adorable hair grips from Anna Spurling, boobie bags from Anna Tamas-Katzer, gingham bags from Bits & Boobs and beautiful jewellery from Rhimani, Mood Good and REALM.
This year 5% of every sale will be donated to Refuge, a charity for women and children against domestic violence.

A brand new exhibition has opened up at Maddox Gallery this winter. Showcasing the work of one of the world’s most exciting contemporary photographers, David Yarrow, Changing Lanes explores a new series of works captured over the course of the last 18 months.
On display until 5th January 2022, the exhibition is a homage to the best of dramatic cinema, with images inspired by Hollywood favourites, including Bonnie and Clyde, Thelma & Louise and Fargo.

Get into the spirit of it all this weekend at Selfridges Christmas Market on the Mews. Back in its second year, the market is even bigger and better than last year. Expect everything from sustainably grown Christmas trees from Moyses and wreaths from Your London Florist, to festive gifts and the giant Helter Skelter. Santa will even be popping up over the festive season too.
Alongside the traders, there’ll be food vendors from Street Feast, including Gully, Utter Waffle, Calamari Canteen, The Tramshed Project and Chin Chin.

Sure, it’s not Christmas itself, but a close second in the annual calendar has to be Christmas Jumper Day! Which falls tomorrow, 10th December.
We’ll be celebrating by donning an array of jumpers from notjustclothing, purveyors of some of the best bad jumpers in the entire world!
The range includes tributes to Greggs the bakery, to Attenborough and Love Island among others. They are splendid!
The sizing is universal so perhaps opt for something a little bigger than you’re expecting! But we think they’re ace!

Curated by Jade Foster, At Peace is a brand new exhibition showcasing works from five artists whose works subvert and rethink how Black women and figures have been portrayed, depicted and regarded by Western naturalistic classical and modernist traditions.
On display until 30th January, the exhibition will be exploring work by Alanis Forde, whose work documents the Black female identity within an idealised Caribbean space; Miranda Forrester and her work that addresses the invisibility of of women of colour throughout history; Sahara Longe’s reworking of history as she swaps in Black bodies in place of models who dominated the period of Old Masters; Cece Philips’s large scale oil paintings that touch on the relationship between women, power and cultural signifiers; and Emma Prempeh’s works that draw on memories and family heritage, while looking at the future.

Lovers of fairy tales, head over to Mayfair this weekend to soak up Annabel’s beautiful gingerbread house. Created in partnership with Swarovski, the façade is complete with dustings of sugar-esque Swarovski Crystal decorations.
Every ounce of the exteriors have been decorated to complete the gingerbread house feel, from candy canes and oversized humbug sweets to the entrance columns wrapped in emerald and clear crystals.
Whether you’re a member of the club or a passerby, make sure you stop by this weekend to capture it in all of its glory.

The holiday season can be hard to manage at the best of times. Add to that a new variant and the possibility of yet another cancelled Christmas and it couldn’t be more stressful. If you’re finding things a little hard to handle or you just feel like you need some way of letting your feelings out, there’s a new pop-up that’ll help you do just that.
Introducing Feelings Library, the new December pop-up that’s arrived at Spitalfields. Conceived and built by architecture practice CAUKIN Studio, in partnership with itinerant art space SKIP Gallery, and therapy service Self Space, it’s an interactive installation that allows you to take a step back, think and express your thoughts in a journal format.
Hidden inside the library, you’ll find journal prompts written by their therapists and space for you to write your thoughts, feelings and worries. It’s a really lovely idea and hopes to help those feeling disconnected or lonely over the festive season.

Vinegar Yard’s Flea Market has been given a festive spin this weekend, offering Londoners a space to shop sustainable vintage goods and support independent traders and small businesses after the difficult year.
Running on Saturday and Sunday, the Festive Flea market will be home to over 40 stalls, each filled with handcrafted Christmas gifts and festivities that can be enjoyed alongside a glass of mulled wine. What could be better?

One of our favourite winter terraces has now opened its doors for 2021. The Winter WonderLounge can be found on the terrace of the Richmond Hill Hotel (overlooking London’s only view to be protected by an Act of Parliament). The space has been transformed with open fires, Christmas trees, hot water bottles and cosy blankets, and boasts a sweet and savoury fondue menu from the award-winning restaurant, 144 On The Hill.
The perfect place for a work Christmas party or simply a pre-Christmas catch up with friends, those in the festive mood can opt for oak rested mulled wine and an artisan cheese fondue, served with honey glazed chipolatas and a continental charcuterie board. The menu also offers a sweet option with a rich Belgian chocolate fondue complete with marshmallows and strawberries, perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

Coca-Cola is bringing some magic to Battersea Power Station this week. The iconic brand is taking over one of Battersea Power Station’s iconic chimneys this Thursday evening, projecting a recreation of the chimney that sits in the heart of their Christmas advent.
Alongside the projection, there’s also the Coca-Cola Christmas Fireplace activation, taking place in Circus West Village. Visitors are invited to write a note to a loved one on their stocking before hanging it above the fireplace, in exchange for a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.
Part of The Winter Village taking place at Battersea Power Station, this is just one part of the exciting festivities going on.
