Wildflower Canteen Comes to Peckham

By | 7th December 2017

Wildflower is coming to the Peckham levels, this however is more much more than just a mere flower growing in the wild, it is not some type of innovative garden centre either. It is in fact a new restaurant, a vegan and vegetarian one at that. Cue all the surprised and delighted faces looking up from Instagram newsfeeds.

Wildflower is the latest venture from Parched London, an independent hospitality group who first made their home in Peckham before taking on The Montpelier in 2010. Now they have taken over an unused multi-story car park and have turned the space into a creative hub to be used for workshops, workspaces, studios, independent businesses and of course a canteen.

The canteen will be serving up delicious dishes full of the freshest produce and punchy flavours. A fun, fresh and casual vibe supported by the communal construct of the tables. Grab your mates and wander down for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The menu will centre around some core favourites but you can expect changes, tweaks and new little gems to occur daily.

If the food is not enough to entice you out, then perhaps the venue itself will lure you down. The canteen is situated five floors up and commands a unique south facing view over an unseen aspect of Peckham Rye, with windows running down the length of the space, the sunshine floods through the canteen and feeds into the feel good, healthy happy vibe buzzing around the area.

Wildflower: Opens 14th December 2017, Peckham Town Centre Carpark, 95A Rye Lane, SE15 4TG,
