Work in the City? Well this one is for you then.* Bakery PAUL is opening their second restaurant tomorrow, Le Restaurant de PAUL in the iconic Tower 42.
Taking up residence on the ground floor, the restaurant which follows on from the restaurant in Covent Garden, will be larger with 93 covers inside, a further 40 seats outside and of course the in-house bakery PAUL. It will also feature their first destination wine bar which will of course specialise in Champagne and wine too.
Starting with breakfast, diners can either go healthy with fruit and vegetable smoothies, multigrain tartines or you can go for pâtisserie, viennoiserie, artisan breads and celebration cakes. Later on in the day there’ll be sandwiches and gourmet salads. Come the evening you’ll find French favourites such as cotelettes d’ agneau and aiglefin fumé au pistou will join new signature dishes including French gourmet burgers, rotisserie chicken salad. Cheese will come from artisan cheesemongers whilst meat will come from the Queen’s butcher, Donald Russell. Like most of the City the restaurant will be shut at the weekend, so don’t turn up for brunch on a Saturday…
