Ahi Poké Opens in Fitzrovia

By Emily Gray | 24th June 2016

You might remember when we told you about the dog that was opening a restaurant, (slight use of artistic license), well the team behind Chez Chow (and Mayfair’s NAC) – Jeremy Coste, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Belliache are back and opening Ahi Poké next Monday.

The latest restaurant to open in Fitzrovia which is having a great 2016 so far, you’ll find it located on Percy Street. The 25-cover restaurant is inspired by Hawaiian beach shacks and the poké bar vibes from L.A – it’s all very laid back and as the name suggests it’s going to be serving up poké – a Hawaiian raw fish dish.

The menu will be full of flavour, quality and variety – signature dishes will sit alongside customisable combinations so you can build your own Poké bowl. Start with a base of quinoa, sushi rice or red kale, add a protein – ahi tuna, sea bream, salmon or marinated mushrooms; a sauce and toppings. In the signature bowl expect to find the likes of ahi tuna, sushi rice, scallions, red onion, black sesame, avocado, furikake and sesame shoyu.

They’ve gone for the beach café look using sustainable materials such as reclaimed wood and driftwoods, bright whites and nautical blue tones. You’ll be able to sit both inside and out, takeaway dishes and get them delivered!

To celebrate the opening they’re giving out 50 free signature bowls between 12-1pm running from Monday 27th – Wednesday 29th June, so don’t go booking any lunch time meetings.
