Bocconcino Restaurant
Mayfair’s Berkeley Square and its surrounds is packed with every permutation of posh restaurant going but what if you just fancy a pizza? Well as of next month Berkeley Street is saying ‘bienvenuto’ to brand new restaurant, Bocconcino.
The new venue is the brainchild of restaurateur Mikhail Gokhner who was inspired by the vibrant flavours he experienced while visiting Forte dei Marmi, a picturesque seaside town in Northern Tuscany. Visitors to the new joint can expect a traditional menu of authentic wood-fired pizzas including the classic Marinara, indulgent Calzone Four Cheeses and Gorgonzola and Pear alongside homemade pasta such as Linguine with Cuttlefish and Squid Ink to oven-baked meat and fish.
Wine is exclusively Italian and takes in a mixture of well-known brands and small, artisan producers from Lombardia to Puglia. Get the party started with the cocktail list featuring Italian classics like the Bellini, Negroni and Aperol Spritz. And in case you needed anything else to whet your appetite, from 1 December to end of January, you can get 30% off food by printing off a voucher from the website.
