London’s ramen boom is hotting up with the opening of Bone Daddies third restaurant in Whole Foods Market on High Street Kensington bringing the best of Soho’s Bone Daddies signature ramen and buns from Covent Garden’s Flesh & Buns all under one roof.
There’s definitely something for everyone. Ramen fans can fill up on Curry Ramen plus new styles of Tonkotsu tasting dishes like Yellowtail Sashimi with chilli, ponzu and coriander and Soft Shell Crab with green chilli ginger sauce.
The steamed buns (dubbed ‘tiger eating’ due to the appearance of the folded bun not because they contain tigers as that would probably be illegal) feature Tiger eating chilli chashu pork, and Tiger eating prawn (served assembled, as opposed to DIY style) and there’s gyoza too with fillings such as chicken and prawn and pork and truffle plus snacks such as chashu pork, jalapeño and cheese croquettes.
Start with a cocktail from the bar and finish up with chocolate fondant and green tea ice cream – all to a rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack set against an industrial backdrop punctuated by Bone Daddies signature colours of red, black and white.
