We’re all aspiring cooks these days aren’t we? Nailing (or in our case failing) recipes from Pinterest, whipping up creations we’ve seen on Instagram and buying cookbook after cookbook – mainly to look at the photographs, but still, we have them and that’s the important part.
However if you need a little helping hand in the kitchen or if you’re already a culinary genius and want to try something new then you are in luck. Party people and cocktail connoisseurs Bourne & Hollingsworth are opening their cookery school, B & H Kitchen at the top of their Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings.
Kitted out with all the latest technology, the kitchen will feature six catering stations, a demonstration bench, a communal dining table, ovens and induction hobs by V-Zug and knives and pans by Zwillings – certainly beats 90% of London flat kitchens.
Run by new Executive Chef Adam Gray and Head Chef Anthony Horn, there’ll be thrice weekly classes. Insightful, entertaining and perfect for all levels, they’ll be covering everything from knife skills, bread and seasonal vegetables to butchery, game and sausage making. Each class will be for 12 participants and will include how to perfect basic dishes as well as celebratory meals – so you’ll have no excuse to not host that dinner party you’ve been promising your friends forever.
The kitchen will also be used for food, wine and cocktail pairing sessions and if you still don’t want to cook then you can hire it out for that dinner party with a bartender and private chef.
