Breakfast at Quo Vadis

Right now in media land, lunch is truly for wimps. Breakfast is definitely where it’s at. But here’s the thing, I can actually count my favourite power breakfast venues on the fingers of one hand! So… it’s a good job that Soho stalwart Quo Vadis has just stepped into the breakfast breach, opening the doors of its Dean Street venue rather earlier than usual.

Super chef Jeremy Lee has drawn up a delectable menu of early morning favourites, inspired by the iconic restaurant’s British and seasonal fare – all guaranteed to set you up for the day.

Delicious dishes include Toast with ricotta, figs and bacon, Granola, fruit compote and yoghurt, Frittata and bacon and Egg toasted sandwiches. You’ll also find an array of artisanal breads with lashings of homemade marmalades and preserves, coffee, teas and freshly squeezed juices. 

That bread, central to Lee’s offering, is baked overnight in the ovens of the new QV Bakery. We’re talking loaves of white, sourdough and raisin – served together with manchets.

And it’s also sold from the building’s reception, just beyond the revolving doors, so you can even grab it to go! Doors open at 8am and breakfast is served until 11am, Monday to Friday.
