London burger giants, Patty & Bun, are soon to be back with their fourth restaurant and this time they are heading to the old Stockpot site on Old Compton Street.
Their largest site yet, the restaurant will have 55 covers and will be split over two floors. In the basement will sit an open kitchen and space for 20 diners so they can watch their burgers being flipped. It’s also available for private hire…oh hello birthday burger parties.
In a Patty & Bun first they’ll also be building a little bar so that they can serve up cocktails, because burgers and cocktails is a match made in feasting heaven. Expect concoctions such as the Patty & Bulls**t, a dangerous mix of bourbon, Aperol, Maraschino and lemon and their nod to The Stockpot, The Stockpot Sour – gin, amaretto, Amaro Nonimo and honey.
The menu will feature the classic burgers such as the Ari Gold and Smokey Robinson topped with melted red Leicester and smokey mayonnaise. There’ll also be the Hot Chic, chicken burger smothered in smoked garlic aioli and topped with fresh coleslaw and pickled cucumbers. In another Soho special they’ll be launching bar snacks to accompany their sides and Patty Melts – think roast chicken skin with maple syrup and homemade hot sauce and fried chicken with Urfa chilli butter.
You don’t have long to wait, it opens next month – the countdown starts now.
