Clarette: Marylebone’s New Wine Bar

Alexandra Petit of the Château Margaux family and leading Restaurateur Natsuko Perromat du Marais are joining forces with wine expert, Thibault Pontallier, to bring Marylebone a new kind of wine bar and it’s opening today.

Setting up shop in an iconic townhouse on the corner of Blandford Street and Manchester Street, Clarette will be split across four areas. On the ground floor is a large communal table which is ideal for catching up with old friends; if you’re on a date head to the cosy surroundings of the first floor and pull up a chair by the beautiful fireplace or people watch outside on the terrace. If you’re hosting an event then the second floor is dedicated to a private dining room featuring an impressive wine display.

France will be the main focus of the wine list with glasses starting at just £5, but you’ll be able to try other carefully selected wines from around the world with both old favourites and new discoveries available. They’ll also be serving simple, sharing plates to graze on whilst drinking.

Clarette: Opens 27th April. 44 Blandford Street, Marylebone W1U 7HS, www.clarettelondon.com
