DNA

Nope nothing to do with Jeremy Kyle, DNA is Clapham’s newest night spot.

Situated in a former masonic lodge, it’s the latest club venue from Howard Spooner, one of the blokes behind the Leopard Lounge in Fulham (remember that!!) plus more recent success stories like Public and Dukebox.

Décor is a voguish mix of raw metal fixtures, vintage Chesterfields and ship lanterns plus humorous touches such as a giant portrait of a skeletal Dorian Gray bearing the neon legend ‘Dorian Never Ages.’

Mixologist Billy Tran from Paris’ Experimental Cocktail Club has designed the cocktails with latest take on the Treasure Chest being a sharing cocktail presented in a safe.

DNA also boasts the largest Funktion 1 in London. And just in case your mind is wandering back to Jeremy Kyle and chromosome matching, that’s a sound system.
