Top London hotel, Flemings Mayfair is a gorgeous 129 room boutique property converted from six Georgian townhouses with destination restaurant, The Grill and a sophisticated bar as well. And it’s just launched the perfect antidote to the winter blues: the UK’s most expensive murder mystery night!
Breaking the bank at an eye-watering £11,500 for the one night, bespoke event, Flemings is offering 12 guests the chance to spend a evening of old fashioned decadence and deception while attempting to solve its exciting 1920s themed whodunit. Fleming’s newly opened luxurious Townhouse makes the perfect setting for a night of glamour and intrigue where the valet has discovered a grisly murder scene.
You’ll have dedicated team of staff including your very own 1920’s butler, unlimited first class Champagne, live jazz, a classic car to get around in and a sumptuous six course private dinner. The hotel will take care of everything so you don’t even have to get dressed up. On arrival all guests receive with vintage clothing, 1920’s hair and make-up styling and even their own photographer to capture the events as they unfold.
But if your pre-Christmas budget doesn’t quite stretch to such indulgence, you can still enjoy some fabulous bespoke service. Locals to Mayfair and St James who over-indulge in The Grill this month can cure their hangover with a delicious complimentary bacon sandwich delivered fresh to their office the morning after.
Comments Chris Penn, the hotel’s General Manger, “There are lots of myths surrounding hangover cures, most of which don’t work. But bacon sandwiches really do help. Bread is high in carbohydrates and bacon is full of protein, which breaks down into amino acids. Your body needs these to fight the effects of the hangover and give you a clear head.”
