Next spring Galadari will bring high(-end) dining to the City with a penthouse-inspired restaurant, bar and 88 metre long rooftop terrace that will boast show-stopping views of St Paul’s, No. 1 Blackfriars, The Shard and the Tate Modern.
Perched on the eighth floor of Crowne Plaza London – The City hotel on New Bridge Street, Galadari also has its own private entrance. The restaurant will feature a Japanese kushiyaki grill with a modern take on Japanese tapas as well as barbecued meats, steak and seafood with lighter izakaya-style small plates including sushi, sticks and skewers for lunch. Bespoke to the max, guests can even choose the flavour of smoke they want for their steak including oak, cedar and olive.
The cocktail menu features seven signature blends alongside shochu highballs, sake, house made sodas, a range of Laurent Perrier vintages and a large collection of Japanese fine whiskey served with charcoal filtered water –designed to match the range of hand-rolled cigars from the walk-in humidor.
Then, while you’re puffing away on the rooftop you can huddle round the contemporary-style sculptured fire-pit and stay protected from the elements under the all-weather canopy.
