Galvin at Windows Bar has just reopened on the 28th floor of The London Hilton, Park Lane. The relaunch follows an extensive £500,000 development programme. The bar is famed for its 360-degree views across London encompassing Wembley Stadium, Hampstead Heath and even the rarely seen back garden of Buckingham Palace.

The remodelled circular adjacent to the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows restaurant will open 10am to 3am for mid-morning coffees, daytime meetings, romantic cocktails, post-dinner drinks and glamorous nights out. The space is designed to capture the light with carefully oriented seating to maximise the view and window banquettes that frame Hyde Park.

Bar Manager Marco Ercolano has designed a new sophisticated cocktail list with references to the hedonistic Golden Age of the 1930s. Visitors can expect an extensive selection of fine wines, Champagnes and spirits including six Champagnes by the glass. You can even imbibe a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2000 for an eye-watering £1053.00 a bottle.

Andre Garrett, head chef of Galvin at Windows Restaurant, has created a tempting menu of bar snacks including Potted Shrimp with a Crab Salad, Avocado and Confit Lemon and a signature Galvin Burger with Vanilla Onions.

Says General manager, Fred Sirieix, famed for his television appearances espousing the art of service, “2012 is London’s year and Galvin at Windows Bar is at the pinnacle overlooking this vibrant metropolis. We look forward to unveiling the new bar and to serving our guests in the sky”.
