How does a train eat? It goes chew, chew!
Sorry. Where was I? Oh yes – you know when you get like a nugget of gossip and your tongue is positively leaping from your mouth to tell all and sundry the news? And then you’re asked for more info on the matter and you’re just stood there dumfounded with nothing else to say? Yep, well, that’s kinda like us right now. As whilst we know there’s a new Cahoots opening, we don’t really have much else in the way of goss. Oops! But here’s what we know so far…
Inception Group, which operates an eclectic collection of London bars and restaurants including Mr Fogg’s, Bunga Bunga and Cahoots, has decided that there’s more fabulous, fanciful fun to be had, and rightly so! They’ll be whipping up a new Soho site that lends itself nicely to all the synonyms associated with the word ‘fun’ and we can’t flippin’ wait.
Kingly Street will be the location, more specifically, and the name will be The Ticket Hall & Control Room – very speakeasy of them! Choo choo your way to the venue and stumble upon two floors of pure joy! Plus, if you’ve covered all bases at The Ticket Hall & Control Room then why not pop across the road to the original Cahoots. Phwoar, what a bonus.
Anyway, let’s get back on track… geddit?
Original Cahoots also takes on the train theme, resembling a 1940s underground station, and is possibly the only thing that makes trains seem cool. Sorry, not sorry. But, as far as the new transport-themed location goes, info is a little thin on the ground so far. In fact, the only quote about the funky news was found after trolling the Cahoots website and it comes from, er, Winston Churchill of all people. Winston says: “When I was younger I made it a rule never to take strong drink before lunch. It is now my rule never to do so before breakfast!” Aside from this, we know little else, but we’re crossing fingers, toes and other body parts that it follows suit with the other Inception Group locations.
Bookings are in fact open, so you can check it out for yourself before the word on the street, or tracks if you will, spreads like wildfire.
The Ticket Hall & Control Room will open this Autumn, hidden near the original Cahoots Underground at 13 Kingly Court, Soho, W1B 5PW, www.cahoots-london.com
