The Ivy Collection is set to grow again next month as they reach over to the city and open The Ivy City Garden at Dashwood House, in the historic Bishopsgate Gardens.

On the menu will be a collection of favourites from The Ivy Collection, such as the shepherd’s pie, brioche crumbed chicken Milanese with fried hen’s eggs and black truffle, and the legendary chocolate bombe with hot salted caramel sauce. A new, exclusive dish will be the truffle beef Wellington sharing platter for four served with foie gras sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and green salad and at the weekend you can build your own waffles during brunch.

There’s going to be a new cocktail menu including the Dashwood Blossom made from Beefeater Gin, fresh grapes, mint, nettle cordial and aloe vera juice, or go all out and order the Champagne cocktail tower – made from six glasses of The Ivy City Garden’s classic Champagne cocktail, because, why not? Sometimes you don’t need a reason.

Continuing their work with The Ivy Collection, the critically acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is overseeing the interior which will feature an onyx bar, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, burnt orange, leather banquettes and midnight blue bar stools. For those looking to host a party, the private dining room seats up to 30 guests and overlooks the garden and Church of St. Botolph.  Of course, being The Ivy City Garden, it’s all going to be about outdoors. The garden will feature 3 cosy fireplaces, a summer water fountain which turns into a roaring fire pit during the winter months, its own bar and can seat 32 guests for alfresco dining. So the sun better turn up this year.

Go before work for breakfast, after work for cocktails and during work when you just need to escape the bustle of the City. Perfect.
