We always like to hear when a pop-up is going permanent, especially when that pop-up is Made of Dough, one of London’s pizza champions. They’ve spent the last couple of years touring the country, cooking over 100,000 pizzas in the back of a Land Rover and now they are settling down in south east London.
Yep, from next month you’ll be able to find Made of Dough on Bellenden Road in Peckham. With space for fifty covers, the pizzeria will feature a chef’s table, cocktail bar and of course an open wood fire. And it’s here that the pizzas will be cooked, after a sixty-hour fermentation process, so that the dough is just right. You’ll find classics like their Brindisa chorizo pizza alongside new additions especially for Peckham such as the new Merguez collaboration with local butcher, ‘Flock & Herd’ and seasonal sides.
Cocktails include Amalfi lemon bellinis and Cointreau espresso martinis and you need to get ready for the gelato milkshakes – the Jackpot Motherf***ing Peanut Butter shake, sounds right up our street. Not that we need a reason, but if we did then 50% off bottles on a Monday sounds like a good reason to have a drink.
To celebrate their opening they will be offering 50% off food from Friday 9th – Sunday 11th June 2017.
Made of Dough: Opens 9th June 2017, 182 Bellenden Road, Peckham, SE15 4BW, www.madeofdough.co.uk
