Marylebone home to the likes of Trishna, Il Baretto, Chiltern Firehouse, The Providores and soon it will welcome Mora to its streets when it opens at the end of this month.
Situated on George Street, the 58 cover restaurant will be serving up refined Mediterranean dishes with fusion twists. Starters include red tuna spaghetti, scallops with marinated fennel and duck breast lacquered with honey, chillies and raspberries. Main courses include turbot filled with black truffles and salted butter; fresh spaghetti with saffron and bone marrow ragu and Bavette with lobster, courgette flowers and leeks. For pudding there’ll be chocolate lava cake and panna cotta served with strawberry coulis and chocolate crumble.
Designed by Dale Atkinson of Rosendale Design, the restaurant which also features a private dining for up to eighteen guests and a terrace will see bronze hues and antique mirrors joined by vintage kitchenware, leather designed booths, hand painted textured walls and an intimate bar.
General Manager, Moe Redissi has said ‘Mora is set to be Marylebone’s new eating and drinking destination and the place to see and be seen.’
We’ll just have to wait and find out…
