More And More Pinkness, Peggy Porschen Opens In Chelsea

Fans of the colour pink will be out in force on the King’s Road now there’s a new focus for your Instagramming madness. Peggy Porschen, a magnet for influencers, has opened on the King’s Road and it’s going to be ALL over your Insta feed. Oh, and the cakes and coffee are pretty good too.

The cafe is opening in stages, with stage one already complete (get lots of Instagrammers in for sweet treats and drinks). The second stage, will see the achingly stylish cafe ramp things up with a full savoury menu later this year. But for now we’re happy to make do with coffee and freshly baked cake.

The Salon serves freshly made coffee and cakes, seven days a week, on that corner down by My Old Dutch where Glebe Place meets the old K.R-dahling. They’ve designed a¬†five metre long glass patisserie counter, which will house freshly-baked selections from classic and seasonal collections. Diners can either take away their sweet creations, or opt to dine in, sitting at the unique pink terrazzo tables, specially commissioned by Peggy Porschen beneath their high ceilings and lit by ‘whimsical pendant lighting’, and all set off by a pastel colour palette of soft green, pink and blue.

What’s more, and as if that wasn’t enough, downstairs there’s a cocktail bar! The Peony Pink Bar (natch), seats just four, quite possibly putting it in the running for London’s smallest bar in London, but still a bar’s a bar, right?

Basically it all just looks like you’re in a Meghan Trainor video. You’re going to love it!
