New Year’s Eve 2

By | 20th December 2013

The second half of our New Year’s Eve round-up features lavish dinners, raucous caberet and a whole host of performances including shows from fire performers, entertainers, trapeze artists, marching bands, and even a lone trumpeter. So it is time to well and truly say goodbye to 2013 with a great send off and welcome in 2014! Happy New Year!

Hush Mayfair will be looking back to the mischievous 1920s for their NYE party theme. Party-goers will be immersed in the Great Gatsby experience as they indulge in a classic New York-themed menu, a gangster casino in which guests will be able to use ‘Hush Money’, and a creative selection of ‘Bohemian Days & Forgotten Pleasures’ cocktails. There are a few types of tickets available, including a Gatsby screening, a four-course meal and a prize for the best-dressed party-goer. Just don’t tell the Prohibition Police!

Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar

This New Year’s Eve, Mint Leaf Restaurant and Bar will be putting on two menus – one early bird, and one gala – to suit everyone’s needs. The delicious food on offer includes a tasting platter of starters so guests can taste as much of the wonderful food as possible, tandoori chicken, prawn curry, and hot chocolate fondant. There will also be DJs and live music from 7pm until late, and separate bar-only bookings are available for those wishing to get stuck into partying the night away!

Morton’s will be hosting a night to remember, with a glass of Champagne on arrival, a deluxe five-course dining experience in the restaurant accompanied by live music, and a special surprise for every guest at midnight! Guesses anyone? If you’re in the mood to party hard, then tickets to the 2&8 club (open until 5am) are also available – if Morton’s previous parties are anything to go by, this is an event not to be missed, just don’t make big plans for New Year’s Day you’ll need to recover!

Northbank will be hosting a special 3-course dinner for NYE. With music and dancing until 3am, this is a great way to enjoy New Year’s Eve without having to drag yourself around hectic London clubs. The menu will feature dishes such as smoked salmon, Cornish scallops, lamb shoulder and sirloin, and puddings include a rather indulgent – sounding salted caramel chocolate fondant, among others. So if you’re looking for some wonderful food this NYE, Northbank is the answer.
