When is a pub not just a pub? When it also has an in-house barbershop and brow and lashes bar. That’s when.

That’s what is going on at Greenwood, the latest opening at Nova and the latest opening from the ETM Group who also have The Botantist, The Aviary and The Jugged Hare under their belt.

Downstairs in the pub you’ll find all day dining with signature dishes including wild rabbit, pig cheek and celeriac pizza, Brixham hake with pak choi and Thai broth; spiced king scallop and shrimp burger and superfood salads. For pudding you’ll find Oreo cheesecakes with blondie crumbs; fried apple pie and cinnamon ice cream and classics like Knickerbocker glories. Hanging over the large island bar will be four copper beer tanks, holding Long Arm Brewing Co. craft beers and rotating guest ales on tap.

Upstairs you’ll find the sports lounge, home to five screens – two of which are mega screens which will show all competitive domestic and international sport throughout the day and night. We’ve got our eye on it for the Six Nations. It’ll also be home to an American 8-Ball pool table and two Shuffleboard tables. Here, the menu you will revolve around croquettes, pizza strips and burgers.

Russell Sage Studio are behind the look which draws inspiration from a 1970’s college common room and library. It’s a bold mix of colours, eclectic booth seating and stools, chandeliers, zebra head and flying flamingos. Whichever college had a common room akin to this needs more recognition – just saying.

And the barbershop and Blink Brow Bar, well, it means that you can get go out and get ready in one.

From now until 22nd Sunday January you can get 50% off food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and for walk-ins and reservations via
