New arrival to Kensal Green’s burgeoning restaurant scene is Parlour from Executive Chef Jesse Dunford Wood who has already led sister operation The Mall Tavern in Notting Hill to huge success. The informal all day long and late night kitchen and bar is housed in a colourful, fun and vibrant setting and Wood, whose eccentric style has already been fêted by the Tatler Restaurant Awards as a Rising Star, has created a series of mouth-watering menus.

Breakfast, available from 8am, offers warming Porridge with Bananas & Honey, Bircher Muesli with Fruit Compote, Smashed Avocado on Lazy Bread Toast or the reviving (No-Subs) Full Parlour Breakfast and unlimited toast while the lunch menu features Spinach, Red Onion & Wensleydale Tart, Smoked Salmon Fishcake & Hollandaise, and Parlour’s Pork Pie Ploughmans. And it’s all topped off with puddings of divine DIY Vanilla Mousse, Peach & Almond Cheesecake or Elderflower and Prosecco Granita.

A Sunday all day menu includes Butternut Squash Wellington or Goosnargh Chicken to share and  with a kitchen open until the early hours, dinner can be a relaxed, late and leisurely affair of signature Cow Pie at 1am.

The drinks cabinet is also well stocked and celebrates craft beers from around the corner and around the world. There’s a precise and simple wine list too plus esoteric cocktails such as  Not-in Hill (Gypsy’s Lavender Vodka, Vanilla, Lemon & Gomme) and Lady Marias Garden Martini (Hendicks Gin, Cucumber, Mint & St Germain). 

Parlour is owned and operated by Perritt & Perritt Ltd which has owned the building since 2006 plus two other sister venues, The Mall Tavern in Notting Hill and The Stag in Hampstead.  With the opening of Parlour, Jesse has joined Directors Jonathan and Andy Perritt as Business Partner.
