BIG News: Pergola Paddington Returns This May

Disguising the city of London with ribbons of floral decor, palm trees and strings of lanterns, Pergola Paddington is arriving to show  that the summer months are most definitely en route. The hugely popular rooftop sees many of you raising glasses, donning sunnies and littering insta feeds with #summer snaps, and now we’ve heard the news that it’s coming back to add a tick to your summer bucketlist.

Opening this May, we’re sure we’re not the only ones itching to get back up there to soak in the so-called British sun while pretending to be somewhere along the Mediterranean coastline. Spread across two carefully-curated floors, the top floor is fully alfresco with the lower floor this year also having part of the roof raised – allowing you to truly enjoy the sunset across the skyscrapers wherever you are.

As big old foodies over here at The Handbook, it’s often hard to decide on our preferred cuisine, yet, at Pergola Paddington, you’ll be spoiled for choice with their four brand new food vendors. Babek Brothers will curb your kebab and halloumi cravings, whilst Honi Poké will offer super fresh and customisable bowls for those sticking to their summer bod’ diets. There’s also Wonton dumplings at An Choi for those wanting to have a taste of Asia or Smash Patty, the new concept from the brothers at Patty and Bun.

Of course, we know full well that it would be no roof terrace without an array of cocktails on offer, offering two-for-one on selected drinks during their ‘Sundowner Hours’. They are also giving away 1,000 glasses of free Frosé to the first 1,000 online bookings which sounds like the perfect opportunity to get your summer party sorted.

Pergola Paddington opens May 2nd at 5 Kingdom Street, Paddington Central, W2 6PY, www.pergola.com
