There’s a new Pizza Pilgrims opening in West India Quay and it promises to be ‘you best night in, out’.
It’s going to be the biggest Pizza Pilgrims yet, housed in a historic Grade I listed warehouse. First opened in 1802, the warehouse originally stored imported goods from the West Indies, but now will be decked out in the signature Pizza Pilgrims style with green and white checked tablecloths and pizza box art adorning the walls.
There’s going to be 70 covers on the ground floor, a further 50 covers in the basement and bar and a 70-seater terrace on the water front, which is going to be Aperol’s flagship location for the summer as well as being sponsored by Birra Moretti. This Pizza Pilgrims is also going to be their first Pizza Playground with a super long fussball table for 22 players, an outdoor bocce ball court (bocce being Italian for bowls – as in the balls, not the crockery) and a 65” screen TV where you’ll be able to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch – it’s going to be one of the first places in the UK to have the game. You can book the private space which is filled with sofas for you and 11 of your pals, eat pizza in boxes take-away style and play Mario – see what they mean, when they say your best night out, in?
The menu you will feature their classic Neapolitan pizzas such as the Portobello mushroom and truffle, smoked Napoli and of course the signature N’duja. Previously, only sold at the Kingly Street site, this new Pizza Pilgrims will also serve friggitoria including deep fried artichoke hearts, calzone fritta, arancini and Italian mac’n’cheese.
Not only is it their biggest site, the first Pizza Playground, it’s also the first Pizza Pilgrims where you can book a table, things are just getting better.
3rd – 7th May they’ll be offering 50% off all food as part of their soft launch.
